Need a plan
Initially, the partner had an ambitious idea, but no implementation plan. It was important to implement the basic functionality as soon as possible in order to start testing with active members of the target platform community
And don't forget about loads
At the same time the system must be reliable and scalable in order to introduce new features without significant modifications and increase the number of active users to hundreds of thousands.

Now we can say that we coped with this task even at the design stage. From the moment of MVP to the present time, the project, as well as the number of active users, has grown a lot. At the same time, there were no problems with reliability which allowed us to concentrate on new functionality and user needs
Many platforms, one tool
All platforms are unique. Each has its own limitations and requirements for the 3D models it works with. We studied each platform in detail, the features of the formats, the structure of objects, scenarios for user interaction with the platform.

Now in Customuse, the user can create a model that can be easily used in the target platform
3D clothing editor
The 3D editor is one of the key components of the application. It should be cross-platform and provide users with the same high-quality experience both in browsers and in mobile applications for iOS and Android. There are no ready-made solutions for this, and when designing on your own, you need to take into account the high requirements for optimization.

We worked out several options in detail, developed prototypes and did a lot of work with the customers. As a result, they jointly made a balanced decision.

Now we have formed a clear development plan for the long term
如何運作
Ordinary users come to Customuse for interesting outfits for different platforms. On the main page, they immediately see a showcase of models. All models can be viewed in 3D in detail.

You can use your favorite model or take someone else's work as a template and create your own based on it in a couple of clicks. The "Remix" function is the most requested way for ordinary users to get their own model. With Customuse, it's easy to replicate your character across different metaverses.

The second group of users are contributors. They create original content in Customuse and make money from it. Thanks to the system of remixes, following and likes, they can see which outfits are popular among users of specific platforms.


Contributors create and publish templates, analyze the popularity of published templates, gain a subscriber base and receive rewards for using their work

Each user has his own page, on which the outfits that he wants to publish appear. Users actively use each other's public works to create their own. Thus, long "chains of remixes" are created. As a result, the most popular models, trends and authors are determined
